Kathy and Ronnie Vause left Las Vegas for Dixie Deer Estates four years ago and have never looked back. “We call it paradise,” says Ronnie. Between them, they have more than 50 years of real estate experience in the Las Vegas Valley and Southern Utah, serving a wide array of needs. Now, Kathy and Ronnie have expanded their breadth of experience and commitment to customer service in Southern Utah. In addition to the expansive roster of services they offer through their affiliation with Keller Williams Realty St. George, Team Vause is also associated with Keller Williams Realty, The Marketplace in Southern Nevada, to accommodate the real estate needs of friends interested in pursuing the recreational lifestyle of Southern Utah and the needs of metropolitan cities, Las Vegas and Henderson.
The Vauses built their first weekend getaway in the Southern Utah area 12 years ago and have now built what Kathy calls their "dream retirement home" in the town of Central, just outside Veyo and Pine Valley, where Kathy hopes to pursue her passions for gardening, painting, cooking and entertaining.
The exceptional Team Vause service is increasingly applied to projects in Southern Utah. Kathy recently completed and sold 3 spec homes in Central. Though the Vauses are focusing their Southern Utah business on second homes and vacation properties, they sell to any need in the area.
It's a lifestyle that's drawing increasing attention. The New York Times recently published an article lauding St. George as a retirement destination. Receiving especially high marks are the area's recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, golfing and boating. National retailers are flocking to the area to serve the burgeoning population. Cultural offerings, such as theaters, are abundant, and the region is also famous for its talented medical professionals and comprehensive hospitals. The Vauses vouch for the high standard of living: They have nine lakes/reservoirs within 40 minutes of their home. St. George is also less than two hours from Las Vegas--a distance that makes it easy to serve clients in both markets.
Ronnie, a member of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS with over 17,000 members to market to, is also a past president of the GLVAR, and a past REALTOR of the Year, has chaired numerous committees and is one of just three honorary faculty members of the association. Ronnie is already approved to teach continuing education classes in Utah.
For Team Vause, giving back to the community that has given them so much is standard operating procedure, as they donate a portion of every commission to a local charitable cause. The philosophy is the same: Treating clients as you would want to be treated. "Integrity means doing the right thing when no one else is looking," Ronnie says. And that set of values remains whether Team Vause is selling a modestly priced first home or a multimillion-dollar estate. "We care about our clients' needs for life, not just the single transaction."
